what is the purpose that most of us know exists but makes it difficult for us to grasp The reality of how that may relate to us in the first place? Building a magazine might seem like an offshore hobby, that will take your mind off of a treacherous workday or a small project to do with your child when in reality, I have experienced all of these, as that all already. Just like being an author of anything, you do not need a college degree to create that. In the 8 year of 2024 this

It was 2017 March and I had just given birth to a pair of twins that were due a little bit earlier than expected but we were blessed to be born on the same day as their great-grandmother who they are extremely close to that put me out of work right away. I got a phone call from my boss asking me when I’d be coming back because my very short-lived experience of maternity leave for a part-time job that I actually did not mind was up and I could not look at my children’s faces and convince myself that I had to go back to work immediately. I will just have to find a new job. During those couple of weeks that went by I tried to rely upon the interesting transformation. My body just went through and processed all of my hormones and emotions, in the midst of that I was still in the mindset of creating something more. Mostly the only thing I was able to do like a lot of mothers was to sleep or eat, or simply wash myself and if I could get through with that, I wouldn’t take on a good dose of social media. I realized that I had no actual platform or space for my perspective to be hurt about certain things, one of which I hold dearly because the little hip-hop girl in me wanted to ask the question why is the Media so pretentious of women in hip-hop? One thing that I noticed in particular was the popular magazine XXL. They are not very particular on putting women on the cover in the first place. They didn’t put their first woman on the cover until 2012 which was Iggy Azalea. So the year 2017 in which would be their 10-year anniversary they really dropped the ball to me when they did not add Cardi B on a cover. something as simple as that a short me, that these magazines and blogs centered around, complete drama, and could not at least take the other algorithm of social media to give the platform interviews to these women music as low vibrational it may be. 

My idea came instantly being that have been trying to get a niche for a magazine out of the ground for a while now, and I could not figure out what it could be then She Universe Media was born. I had a former account that I could never successfully finish a website for or stick to a successful theme, and just simply posted on social media. That account was formally known as Pink Cloud Magazine. The most that I can remember that was sent around was art, which was something that I naturally love as me being an artist myself however, it was missing something. It was missing a connection to a brand to an identity. Everything that I did graphics-wise, interviews, and social media posting was all done 100% completely by myself and I can tell how in the long run that would not be successful for me. With all the research of other popular media companies like Blavity, or Complex, I have done years of research and studies of how I can stick to the vision statement of what She Universe media represents,

Over the years She Universe Media has gone through many stages. I have gone through many websites and Many logos I have gone through downtime where I almost completely abandoned my digital presence because I may have been working on another idea which I do also often however in 2024, I have completely stuck to the idea of bringing She Universe Media bag as not just a magazine/blog but an experience for all kind
